In this State of affairs, we need to ensure the following points:-
a) No post dated / current dated cheque is to be accepted of the amalgamating banks as their customers have to collect the new cheque book (as there may be a change in the bank a/c no. / IFSC code / MICR code), the customers of the amalgamating banks are given a set timeline up  to which the old cheque book can be used but to be on a safer side please avoid it unless it’s really unavoidable.
b) While fixing the disbursements in such cases please do ask and collect the new bank details.
c) Similarly all such vendors whose bank details have undergone a change due to this merger need to submit the KYC details again like  copy of a cancelled cheque / letter from the anchor bank.
